Freelancing for The Artist

How To Get Freelance Gigs:

Retaining your freelancing client is always going to be based off word of mouth. The gossip is how good are you versus how good is she, versus, the style and type of art the dealer in mind. There is no telling wha they have in mind if the don't draw but what is the true question. The aclectic taste versus the 3d architect and new world perspective.
It's all about what you want it to say, or what the buyer in question wants, freelancing is not hey I'll draw this picture for you, it is
here is what I have drawn,
here is what I can do for you for an extra fee.
Your inventory at one point in time can be your life.
That's important to remember.

I spent a few days on this, waiting for paint to draw, dropping off things between clients and school,
this project was a pain in my behind, but Overall, it came out GREAT!!!
It was more than what they wanted, it was great!

I wish I had gotten a pic of it in the frame, but I do it because I love it!

Skullies, Bones, Roses

This is a rough sketch of a procees I'm in progress transferring this to the digital world, and I'm very excited!!!

I place my signature on my finish projects, I feel as if safe expression is a very important aspect of self.
A friend of mine asked me to draw this for her, She loved it, I am now in process of redoing it for some different purpose. That purpose is to feel good.
I hope you enjoy this!

Tattoo Update #2

I wouldn't normally post two in one day, but I would rather not post three pictures in one blog post especially with two different drawing styles, I also was in a relatively different mood and this abstract gesture allows you to tell the differences.
It also has borders around it which is something new and different Is tarted doing as I began reposting my pictures onto instagram: Arktidtastic

So if you would like to see more art visit: www.alonbrown.ga

Tattoo Update

So two ladies that I have done recently I didn't realize theyw ere both looking the same way until putting them next to each other, I guess it's just the mood I was in. While I have no tattoo's I have been absolutely fascinated with them for a very long time. I do however have a few unique piercings. 👀😌🙈🙈🙈🙇
My younger sister does have a few tatt's 👀👀👀
While I won't get any, I will continue to draw them as I please.
They look pretty.

Art Nubist?

I guess I have a habit of thinking that everyone is new to everything, but if that were true, People like me wouldn't write for people like you. Whoever you may be reading about this. The economy has been a quite a funk but It's important to know and plan ahead for when the time picks up. Planning and strategies are truly everything for the new artist. You may find yourself doodling and you look at the other art pieces from around the world and you say, they make this money, so can I.
Regardless of who said it first, it is true, and standard. For an artist to release their soul and continually put their passion into paper, into the air, it's important to stay positive. Most people look to art to relieve them from a sense and feeling of pain and others use it as self-expression, regardless of how it is used, one must continue to use it, like a drug, if not one may find their life spiraling into a weird complex design that you never thought was possible. This is because freedom to release is a mental thing that manifests into reality whatever way it sees possible. So what do you do? Find a way to relieve that stress, and keep your brain away from "HOT ZONE SECTOR: S.T.R.E.S.S.E.D" => Internally you want to, but if you do it internally and then it manifests itself into reality, all you can say is, "I knew it! I knew this would happen." The person who decided to stay to it and is now making 5k a month as a starter is saying the same thing, but in a lighter sense, "I knew it was possible, I just knew it!" Less stress on him than you right now! So what can I say? Commitment is the first starter for nubie, because there are successful hobbyist! What's a hobbyist, people who don't just do art, they work a full time doc's job, and they too have committed to the spiritual relief of art. The artnubie knows nothing about this yet.....

College? [UPDATED 2018]

Well I guess it's time you know, I went for Art,
so What are you going to do with it?
I freelance, but I just came across another
Great idea, why not blog about it?
I Would LOVE INPUT, and insight,
It would keep me inspired!
That's the biggest thing!
So Here is to the new years
A sketch I put together in my head, and wanted to see how it would look on paper,
I would love a little insight here in the creative process.
A recent piece I put through looked like this
I had a lot of fun here!

For more go visit my ig: ARTKIDTASTIC, however, my blog won't have the same content, at least not until it's purchased. Once they are purchased they will show up on the site, probably slightly altered more than likely, but it's what I like to do. If you want to know more about me personally, feel free to ask away.

So why choose to go back to update an art blog, well I am relatively pleased with my results, but I do say I have begun to entangle myself into a world of new adventures, and a new major, that would be Finance and Economics. I did, change my major in the last year. I now only have one more year to go. I am pleased with the results, but if you comment below and let me know what you guys want to know about I will gladly blog about it ;) I am very well versed now in Art, Finance, Personal finance, and making money online. I will begin blogging soon.

IS college worth it? As a student I get a lot of benefits, I would recommend looking into how you can become a student who recieves a lot of benefits. I have to take a year in and out of school every now and then just for a B.A because I couldn't always afford it. But now, school is paying for itself ;).
